Oliver the Firefighter
Oliver has been saying for many months that he wants to be a fire fighter when he grows up. He sometime says he will also be a policeman–he will just change hats and then he will drive the police car, then switch hats again to drive the fire truck.
But today we went to the Ames fire station because they were having an open house. It was a lot of fun with lots of activities. One activity was using a hose to put out a fire (a pretend fire).
Oliver showed that he has what it takes:
He took ahold of the hose and knew what to do right away.
