For Love of Lasagna
Oliver has a new found love of the classic cartoon Garfield. Not the new, awful, CGI movies–the tv series Garfield and Friends. I used to watch it when I was a kid, and I am happy to see he enjoys it.
The other day while we were watching some morning cartoons, he turned to me and said “I’m Nermal” (the little grey, insufferably cute cat that Garfield loves to hate).
“Oh?” I said.
“You’re Garfield” he responded. So for the past few days he has been pretending to be Nermal while calling me Garfield. I never thought I would see the day a kid wanted to be the obscure side kick over the title character, but there you have it. I’m Garfield and Oliver is Nermal.
