The Green Dinosaur
While I was working, Ali and Oliver came to visit. So, I took some time to walk around campus with the two of them. We looked at squirrels and talked along the way. After a while, we started heading back toward my office in Ross Hall, but decided to stop to take Oliver potty. As I walked him inside, he started pointing and saying there was a Green Dinosaur. As we talked, he said the Green Dinosaur was going to get us. As we left the bathroom, he started saying ‘run,’ and I obliged. We spent the next 40 minutes or so dodging around campus, hiding behind trees, and imagining a world in which dinosaurs were coming to get us. It was wonderful.
